Movie Story
Dasara movie story is started in the village of Veerlapalle in Godhavarikhani. Dharani, his friend Soori and others are addicted to alcohol. Vennela is their common friend since childhood. Chinna Nambi, son of Shivanna elected as the Sarpanch(president) and he looks after the Silk Bar. Rajanna helps Soori and his friends in a case and they elect him as their Sarpanch. After this, someone kills Soori on the night of his wedding to Vennela. The story revolves around a family who is struggling to save their ancestral home from being taken over by a corrupt politician. While the premise is interesting, the narrative lacks depth and fails to engage the viewers. The screenplay is weak, and the pacing is slow, which makes it hard to stay invested in the story.

Dasara is definitely worth watching once in the theater for its excellent cinematography and songs. As for the movie, the acting by Nani and Keerthi is excellent. The direction is good, the screenplay could have been paced better in the second half in my view. The first half is excellent while the second half starts slowly before developing into an action-packed climax. Overall, it’s a movie worth watching once despite some flaws. The performances by the cast are average at best, with no standout performances that leave a lasting impression. The music and background score are also forgettable and fail to create the desired impact.
