Movie Story
Bala Gangadhar Tilak (Dhanush) aka Balu is a Junior Lecturer at Tripathi Educational Institute (TEI). The university control adopts numerous authorities schools withinside the rural regions of Andhra Pradesh and sends Balu to Siripuram Govt. College for coaching the college students. Balu, with the assist of lecturer Meenakshi (Samyuktha), guarantees that the neighborhood college students come to university and rating respectable marks in exams. This makes the TEI Chairman Tripathi (Samuthirakani) sad and he ruins Bala`s destiny plans. Why did Tripathi break Balu`s plans? What did Balu do next? Did he take any stand or flip a blind eye? Sir a film on the importance & privatization of the education system set in 90’s. Director VenkyAtluri seems to be inspired by many films in the past but works to a large extent due to the charming screen presence of Dhanush. Is it a Tamil film or Telugu film as almost all casting are almost from the Telugu industry? GV Prakash has once again scored well in BGM. There are few mass fight scenes that are kept to satisfy the fans.
Every student and every parent must watch. Highlighted the difference between Simply earning money and being educated and then earning Respect and Money. Showed the differences between private and govt school education – selling v free distribution of education like Selling a packet v free distribution of God’s blessing. School is like a place of worship and the teacher is like god and the students are the devotees. There is a limit to even the commercialization of education, climax is wonderful, especially the last 15 minutes, showing the power of students, and how each student can again spread his knowledge like light, no force can stop the light of education.
This movie definitely made my kids feel the importance of education. Sir Movie is not focused on commercials or glamour, this movie is focused on developing society. This is where the movie gained respect. There is no unnecessary stories, scenes. Everything in the movie is truly real and makes each one feel about the importance of education, how students’ capability can be improved, how parents should behave to impart education, how money minded society demolishes government schools etc. Dhanesh played as usual very well, supported by the direction, production, Music, and other actors in the movie.
