Babli Bouncer featuring actor Tamannaah Bhatia in the lead role released on Monday. Taking to its YouTube channel, Disney+ Hotstar shared the over two-minute-long trailer which showed Tamannaah’s journey from a bodybuilder in Fatehpur Beri to a bouncer at a Delhi club.
The trailer filled with some funny moments that can make you chuckle and largely, it looks like Bhatia’s show all over. But it seems to be aiming at sending across a larger message than just being a fun movie. Babli Bouncer seems to be breaking major gender stereotypes as ‘body building’ and being a bouncer considered more ‘manly’ professions. We’ve never seen a lady doing that on-screen before. This one does look like, another film focusing on women’s empowerment and breaking another gender stereotype.

Tamannaah also has the upcoming Netflix comedy movie Plan A Plan B with Riteish Deshmukh. It will premiere on September 30.
