The young Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan is play a major role in the multilingual film Yashoda starring actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the lead role. He couldn’t hold his excitement and announce the news on his official Instagram. Also, he shared the official poster of the Yashoda featuring him, with a note. Unni Mukundan was already known in the Telugu industry by playing a major roles in the films Bhaagamathie and Janatha Garage.
The concept of the film not disclosed much from the title. However, reports suggest that Yashoda will be a thriller and female-centric. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is known for picking diverse and author-backed roles was impressed with the role offered to her in Yashoda and she readily signed the project. Varalaxmi will be playing Madhubala character in the film and she has joined the shoot already and is filming the scenes featuring her. The current schedule is going on in Hyderabad. The unit plans to complete this schedule by 23rd December and then move on to the second schedule in January.
